Social and Environmental Commitment

Sustainability and Development

At ELi Publishing Group, our dedication to sustainable development for equitable and inclusive education is evident in several key practices. We carefully select suppliers who share our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Additionally, we prioritize the use of sustainable raw materials, opting for certified or recycled paper and employing low-chemical inks.

Our waste management strategies emphasize reuse, contributing to our efforts to minimize environmental impact. Furthermore, our energy policy focuses on extensive electricity production through photovoltaic systems.

We recognize that environmental sustainability not only enhances our brand reputation and positioning compared to competitors but also enables us to spearhead socio-environmental initiatives and communication projects.

Our commitment extends beyond environmental concerns; we prioritize the development, growth, and well-being of individuals within our organization. We value each person based on merit, foster collaborative work environments, and prioritize the health and well-being of our team members

2030 Agenda

Understanding the objectives outlined in the 2030 Agenda is fundamental to fostering a sustainable future. The year 2030 marks the target set by the United Nations for achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which encompass crucial aims such as poverty eradication, hunger alleviation, climate change mitigation, and gender equality.

Within ELi Publishing Group publications, we tackle issues pertaining to the 2030 Agenda in a compelling and constructive manner. Through a blend of texts, activities, videos, and images, we aim to cultivate awareness and critical understanding in classrooms, encouraging students to engage with global issues more attentively.

Furthermore, our emphasis on cognitive and non-cognitive skills, commonly known as soft skills, reinforces our commitment to nurturing citizens who are not only cognizant but also responsible contributors to sustainable development.

Equilibrium #equalityproject

At ELi Publishing Group, our educational materials are designed to reflect evolving social and cultural dynamics, with a heightened focus on the messages they convey. We are committed to inspiring and broadening the horizons of our users by incorporating examples that align with the principles of social justice, gender equality, and the celebration of diversity.

In partnership with the University of Macerata, ELi has developed guidelines for creating school texts that uphold gender equality and challenge stereotypes. Through meticulous attention to balanced content, inclusive language, and thoughtful illustrations devoid of stereotypes, we promote diversity, equality, and inclusion in our materials.
